The Banner

I made a mixed medium banner a la http://ruthrae.blogspot.com/

Some hand stamping on linen, sewing, 3d stuffed fabric pieces, hand felting, beading, embellished with this and that.

I used some of my partners music pages and some lace from a thrift store.

 I love that the elements all have a little individual story that when put together take on a new narrative.

In the first letter I included a pearl that I 'won' at Sea World with my dad in the 70's. It's been kicking around my jewellry box and has now evolved into a found object in the birds nest.
