Rainbow Rage Razzle Dazzle

Though today she sports the black shirt again,
she swears her favorite colour is pink now.

How can a mother keep up?

Rainbow, man.

Only on the day of the rainbow dress,

Pu was NOT in a rainbow mood.

Such technicolour emotion in this little person.

In this photo she is mustering all the glee she can.

She also looks like
life is her personal passing kidney stone.

This says it all really.

A pox on rainbows,
bring back the black!!

(It should be noted that much like Pu,
the black has sequins
and glitters despite itself)

The hot hot horrors

Pu has decided her favorite colour is black
(though by the time you read this it has changed again :)

And she is in a stage of wearing black
long sleeve shirts with black pants or leggings.

It's summer.

She's also consequently in a whining
and grumping I'm too hot stage.

Coincidence?

So I tried to find the middle
by making her a sundress with black stripes.
See the torture??

We then tried to wear it as a shirt.
Oh the horrors!!

Snip snip.
The mini, happy version.

Apparently,
Pu has already reached her teenage years
(at age 5).

Thank goodness we kept making humans.

Humans,
who are willing to wear my weird clothing.

Speaking of weird clothing...

Rest assured, I won't be wearing this tank top,
with this headscarf,
while caring this baby...

But that's some fine striped material.

This is me post shower, no make up,
no sleep

Someone take a nap on the bags under my eyes.

Simply Summer Sandle- Silly

First there was only one silly summer sandal.

I saw it on pinterest and went for it.
Despite all good sensible thinking.

I don't really crochet, so there was some
 sweat and swearing
involved in making 1 tiny flower sandal.

And on our early morning jaunt I put it on
to test the fit.
The button was too small and it was flung.
Unbeknownst to me.

Well of course,
that's what babies DO!!

So I wondered...do I bother with more?

But then the cuteness won out.

And the original was recovered.

Practical?
Nope.

Functional?
Definitely no way.

Off in under 2 sec.?
Yes man.

But silly, frilly and done.
